The first thing to do in January is to pull out your checklist - I recommend the one on www.theknot.com where you put in your wedding date and it makes the list for you based on your date, and when you check items off the list they disappear. I only manage checklists for my full service brides, so I highly recommend this free service to all of my day of service brides. See if you can cross a couple things off in January, it will get you back in gear and get your excited for the big day.
Once you verify your checklist, I would also recommend sending a short email out to all of your vendors and check in just to say HI and to let them know you are looking forward to working with them this year. Don't let them forget who you are and also see if they want to meet in the next could months during their down time when they will have time to spare.
This year I have four weddings booked so far and I love everyone of my brides. One wedding in June at Chatham Bars Inn, two weddings in July, one in South Dartmouth - twin sister of the wedding I did last year there which is really cool - and the other at the Chatham Beach and Tennis Club, and one wedding in October, again at Chatham Bars Inn. I am really looking forward to working with all of my brides and their families this year.
Happy New Year!!
